Why Leaders Must Earn The FAITH Of Their Constituents?

Although, many seek positions of leadership, a very – small, percentage of these people, actually, become quality, effective, meaningful leaders! After, well – over, four decades, of personal involvement, in, nearly, everything, involved, in effectively, leading, from identifying and qualifying, to training, developing and consulting to, thousands of actual, and/ or, potential leaders, as well as, personally, serving, as a leader, on several occasions, I have come to, strongly – believe, if one hopes to be a leader, he must earn constituents trust, and FAITH, thoroughly, and consistently. With, that in mind, this article will attempt to, briefly, consider, examine, review, and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means and represents, and why it matters.

1. Fairness; future; face facts; fruition: You will only serve and represent others, as you should, when you are, actually, as well as perceived as, adhering to the maximum degree of absolute fairness! One must face the facts, without bias and prejudgment, and create the brightest future, for the specific group, and its stakeholders! However, it’s not enough, to, simply, complain, blame, and suggest, but one must be ready, willing, and able, to take his plans, to a viable, meaningful, fruition!

2. Attitude; aptitude; actions; articulate; astute; attention: A true leader proceeds, consistently, with a positive, can – do, attitude, but avoids wearing, rose – colored glasses! He needs to develop the aptitude, and skill – set, which might make him the finest leader, possible! The message, articulated, must be, clever, astute, relevant, inspiring, and truthful! Only, when all of these things, are combined, effectively, will he pay a sufficient degree of keen attention, and better – represent, his organization!

3. Integrity; inspire; imagine; innovate; insights: Only, when one’s integrity is, absolute, and perceived, as – such, will he inspire many others, to listen, and follow! He must inspire others, and innovate, in order to introduce, relevant, sustainable, meaningful, insights, and take the finest actions, for the greater good!

4. Together; timely; time – tested; trust/ truth; trends: Unless/ until, one brings others together, for the common good, and a meeting – of – the – minds, will he deserve to earn the trust of others! This requires, consistently, telling the truth. recognizing, relevant trends, and proceeding, with well – considered, timely action, combined with, time – tested, activities!

5. Head/ heart; healing; humane; hearing: Making the necessary connection, to inspire others, takes the patience, willingness, and ability, to focus on hearing, and effectively, listening to their needs, priorities, goals, and perceptions, and proceeding, with genuine empathy! One must emphasize healing wounds, and bringing people together, towards an essential, meeting – of – the – minds! He must be, truly, humane and caring, and proceed, balancing his emotional and logical components, in a head/ heart balance!
